As principals of the Company, Jan and Dean Kuhl have provided the leadership needed to develop to the point where they are recognized for their innovative practices, and their totally professional attitude.
Dean is a registered Work Supervisor and is responsible for all on-site work. He also has qualification in ISO Standard Quality Assurance Auditing. Jan who is responsible for the design work and administration is also both a HIA Certified Kitchen Designer and a Certified Bathroom Designer.
The Cavalier range of award winning homes includes first home buyer designs right through to luxury two storey homes. By joining forces with Cavalier Homes (Aust), they can now offer the service and commitment of a local builder, while tapping into the systems, marketing support and buying power of a major national builder.
Jan and Dean are also both accredited HIA GreenSmart Professionals, and if you are building a new home, they use these principles to ensure you home is naturally comfortable and as energy smart as possible.
In 2004 Jan was the recipient of the National HIA Award 'Australia Business Partner of The Year'.
In 1971, prior to entering the building industry, Dean was awarded the AIDA Medal for his outstanding contribution to science teaching in South Australia. His qualifications and experience has provided a solid foundation for Cavalier Homes Adelaide's excellence in sustainable living - and also the fact that Jan was selected by the HIA as the person to present the GreenSmart Professional courses in SA.
